Motoring conditions at your post.
No matter how many Post Reports, Briefing Manuals or articles one has access to, there's nothing quite like a personal, up-to-date report from someone "on the ground", to give you a clear idea of what to expect on (and off) the roads.
Post-Scriptum has only just been launched but we have already received a few reports from customers and readers overseas. The success of this page will depend entirely on your input. The more information there is in it, the more people will want to contribute themselves.
A big thank you to the writers of : .
(Unless writers ask to be named, all articles will remain anonymous)
Please help us to gather more reports by sending us an account of your own experiences. These will be greatly appreciated by your successors and the more contributions we receive, the more likely you are to find one about your next post. If we already have your country listed above, don't be put off. One or two of the reports could usefully be added to.
Ideally we'd like to receive articles mentioning : touring in the country, fuel availability (regular, super, lead-free, diesel), and cost (US$), state of roads in and out of town, hazards to watch out for, options and accessories - recommended or essential, any specific do's and don'ts, the present security situation, car insurance, maintenance and repair facilities, the cost of spare parts, the most popular makes etc.
To let us have your Post-Scriptum please e-mail it to us
Thanks in advance for your contribution !
