Alcohol
- Driving under the influence of alcohol, or being driven by someone in that condition, is
one of the most common causes of death and serious injury abroad. Because the laws
in some countries are not so strict, or are not enforced, too many people pay too little
attention to the amount of alcohol they consume. They regularly put their own, and
other people's lives, at risk.
- There may be fewer vehicles on the road and fewer police cars, but in many countries
there are also fewer street lamps and a great deal more potholes, goats, donkeys, unlit
stationary trucks, military roadblocks and other obstacles which can suddenly appear.
- Our advice is : drink fruit juice, or take a taxi home and live to enjoy your hang-over!
- The same applies for any other substance / drug.
